Christopher Volpe

Christopher Volpe combines classical methods with the Alla Prima technique of oil painting in expressive still life and plain-air landscapes informed equally by emotion and tradition. A writer and teacher as well as a painter, Christopher is a regular contributor to Art New England and teaches art history at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and Chester College of New England. He is locally represented by Kennedy Gallery in Portsmouth, NH. He maintains a studio in Rollinsford, NH.
