Shiao-Ping Wang

Shiao-Ping Wang was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States in 1981. She studied both Western art and Chinese art in New York and earned an MFA degree from Queens College, City University of New York. She is on the NH State Council Artist-In-Education roster. She received the “Best Painter Award” in 2008 Spotlight Awards and was a Clowes Fellow at Vermont Studio Center in 2007. In 2011 she was an Artist-In-Residence at Weir Farm Historic Site in CT. Her work has been exhibited widely in Northeast. Her work is represented by Three Graces Gallery in Portsmouth NH and Kingston Gallery, Boston.
