You will learn many of the same principles of painting including, how to mix color hues to create shadows, make colors recede and advance and how to create harmony and contrast making colored choices, not mud. The colored pencil is also a very versatile medium, creating many different effects. Discover these fascinating techniques including; sgraffito, impressed line and burnishing, and the effect of colored pencils on different paper surfaces. All levels of students welcome.
