Delving deep into the properties and psychology of color, students will learn to control and achieve desired effects. Through color mixing, tints, shades, hues, and values students will combine complementary, analogous and monochromatic colors, explore color theory, including additive and subtractive color. Discussions of color and its relationship to composition, through harmony and contrast, will be explored, culminating in a final work of art.
