SA 10: Drawing From Nature
Instructor:
Carol Ann Morley
10 Weeks
Thursday
12:00 - 3:00 PM
(September 22 - December 1)
This course is intended to be playful, using nature as a means of expression. Working from shells, leaves, seaweed, feathers, plants or other intriguing natural forms, students are encouraged to interpret the subject into a creative image searching for the story within through the repetition of texture, pattern, and the flow of rhythm in natural forms. Graphite, charcoal and conte are the primary drawing media, but experimentation with other drawing media and paper surfaces is encouraged in the quest for compelling imagery. All levels of students welcome.
