SA 3: Watercolor Painting On Panel
Instructor: Dustan Knight

(as seen in the summer issue of Watercolor Magazine)
6/7, 6/14, 6/21
6:00PM - 9:00PM

This is an exciting new method of preparing and finishing watercolor paintings on hard panels. Paint really BIG and recapture the WET brilliance of the color using this technique. The final varnish is UV Light resistant!! Free yourself from the need for heavy glass and expensive framing. Walk through the process with a step-by-step, hands-on demonstration, featuring the floral painting style depicted in the Watercolor Magazine article. Students will be working on two cradled panel paintings. Many painting themes and styles can be used in this mounting process, including mixed media and collage. Each student will receive two panels, gel medium, self-leveling gel, and hot press paper. Bring your own watercolor painting gear.

Extra materials will be available for sale at the workshop.
