This course is designed for both novice and beginner. Through hands-on demonstrations, the student will learn various techniques of pastel painting. These techniques include scumbling, blending, and creating color with color (overlaying several colors in order to produce secondary and tertiary colors). This class includes the introduction and practice of color theory as well as the exploration of many other facets of color. Composition and value will also be emphasized.
