"The Canon", a survey of the great paintings of western art (plus a bit of history to place them in context) will help everyone appreciate why good art is "good" and "great" art is great. "Women in Art" is the alternative survey that fills in all the empty spots and introduces the discussion of feminist art and "minority" art in general.
