This course is tailored for those who are familiar with the basic techniques of the pastel medium and who are ready to explore the next level of color application. The student will learn how to create interest through the use of texture, explore the use of color changes and textures to create the illusion of distance, learn how color proportion contributes to a successful painting, and how to work from a photograph. Emphasis will be given on constructive criticism and individual attention.
