We will discuss incorporating found objects in the design as well as the importance of scale and function. At the end of the class each student will have the ability to explore and use a variety of hammering techniques as well as some basic wax carving techniques for casting. The students will have an understanding of how the function of the spoon affects the design, and be able to translate their design into a metal spoon. All levels.
