Friday 6:00 - 9:00 PM (September 28 - December 21)

For the beginning and advanced painter. For beginners it will be a new opportunity to see the figure on a continuous basis and begin to understand how to render the human form with paint. For the advanced painter, this class will present an opportunity to focus, consistently and regularly, on the figure and work on your skills of rendering the human form, through light and shade. The use of color will be strongly emphasized because the ability to mix color to match the tones of flesh, warm and cool, are the most important aspects of painting the figure. There will be a live model for each class and an extended pose (across multiple weeks).
