This is a great class for both jewelers and sculptors. Learn some basic carving techniques in hard waxes with Alice, some modeling techniques in soft wax with Christopher, and combine them to create unique images on a small scale (3 inches square maximum) to be cast in bronze and silver in our centrifugal casting machine. Art medallic relief work, fantasy jewelry, small whimsical sculpture; all can be accomplished in this miniature wax class. Also some techniques for making multiple waxes from a plaster mold will be demonstrated.
