Learn how to create botanicals and drawings from nature using colored pencils. This versatile medium is exciting to explore and can achieve the look of a color wash, an etched line, or opaque painting. Find out about the many fascinating techniques that can lend creative expression to your colored pencil drawings and capture the character of your subject. The course will focus on how to approach and control your color drawings from sketch to finish. There will be instructions on pencil techniques, color theory and preparing tonal and color studies to develop a finished rendering. Open to all levels of students.
