Sit among the poppies, peonies, irises and roses and experience the pleasure of drawing spring flowers in some of the loveliest historic gardens in the local seacoast area. Draw in a sketch book with colored pencils to capture the natural way flowers grow in the garden. Learn to sketch groups of flowers quickly and capture individual details under the guidance of a botanical art instructor. This class will help you to increase your observational skills, which are so essential in botanical drawing. The first class will be held in the classroom at Sanctuary Arts to learn some pencil techniques and receive handouts. Rainy days will be held at Sanctuary Arts to draw flowers. All levels welcome.
