Develop your drawing skills through the study of natural forms gathered from the woods, meadows and seashore. Find out ways to capture a delicate feather and seashell or the texture of driftwood, rocks and plants. Learn how to sketch quickly, observe form, draw in proportion and shade your drawing to give it visual depth. The course will begin with the study of simple forms and progress to more complex forms. Students will be encouraged to interpret their subject creatively and develop compositional studies to create a compelling drawing about nature.
