Drawing the model from life, students will learn how to observe and draw the proportions of the human body and gain an understanding of surface anatomy. Investigation of formal concepts of shape, proportion, movement, and structure will help in achieving the model's likeness. The aim of the class is to develop student's understanding of what they see and sharpen their skills through exercises and observation using a range of media.
