Instructor:

Saturday, April 3
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Capture the intensity of an armful of blooms in this workshop. Brilliant, all over color creates flower paintings that are exciting and joyful. We will be working with a glazing technique and mastering negative shape painting during this fun, relaxing and information filled session. A floral arrangement will be available for reference, or you may use your own floral photographs. For all levels. Materials to bring to class: large brushes, large plastic palette, large water container, 140 # hot pressed arches watercolor paper with support board and masking tape, paper towels, lunch. Bright, happy colors including a clear bright yellow (aka-cadmium yellow light, hansa yellow or a lemon yellow) transparent roses, pinks and other transparent colors work best (you can bring a Chinese white for final touches).
