SA 13: Pottery: Intermediate Wheel Throwing

For those who have taken the Beginner Course or the equivalent. This intensive 18-hour workshop will broaden student's wheel throwing repertoire. On Saturday and Sunday students learn how to create and assemble a teapot, 2 part bowls, wine goblets, create fancy lids, throw minis from the hump, produce duplicates and more. Monday night, students will trim all bases, attach handles and prepare pots for drying and firing. The class will reconvene on August 2nd to glaze the ware. All pots will be made of stoneware clay and will be mirowaveable, dishwasher, and oven safe.
