Wednesday 12:30 – 3:30
February 1 - April 4
Tuition: $295 Plant Fee $10

Explore colors of the natural world through sketching and drawing plants. Learn how to read the natural color of flowers, fruits and leaves and depict them with colored pencils. Students will be introduced to colored pencil techniques along with methods to create realistic portraits of plants. You will learn how to slowly develop your renderings and stay in control of your color through tonal studies, selecting colors for light and shadows and making a colored chart to test color choices. Colored pencils are fun to work with and you are encouraged to use the botanical images in your own creative way. All levels welcome.
