Learn more about the use of Manual Settings on your Single Lens Reflex Camera. Whether you shoot with Digital or 35mm Film the principles of exposure are the same. This class will give you the knowledge about Apertures, Shutter Speeds, ISO Film Speed Settings, Depth of Field, and how these features are designed to help you compensate for capture conditions like low-light, temperature of light, fast action, stop action, and many other techniques that will help you improve your technical ability with your SLR camera.Tri-pod is suggested. Each week we will explore these techniques by shooting in the field with weather permitting and in the studio as necessary. Each class we will review images from weekly home assignments and address the setting challenges of shooting in manual mode on your Digital SLR camera. Film 35mm camera users are welcome but will need to have their films developed and scanned to CD in order to participate.
