ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, The Basics

Adobe Photoshop is a complex graphics and image editing software and paint program. It has become a mainstay with artists to edit and manipulate images and to create promotional materials such as business cards and postcards. If you've ever used any software program to edit graphics or images before, then the Photoshop interface may seem familiar to you and some things may be quite easy to learn. Photoshop is by far the most extensive program available and offers the most features and options. Have fun learning the basics as well as a few more advanced features. This course will require that you have a laptop computer with the Adobe Photoshop software and images of your own artwork. (The instructor will be using Adobe Photoshop CS4 - but the majority of the features and tools discussed are present in other versions of Adobe Photoshop.)
