PHOTOGRAPHING YOUR ART

You can bring whatever camera you have to the class, but preferable are cameras that are less than two years old. We will go over some simple techniques using a tripod and hardware-store bought lamps, color temperature, background choices and backdrop improvisation. All students should be able to manipulate their cameras well enough to change the settings, know about file types, uploading of images and basic digital photography camera use. The class will meet for three hours, bring a couple of pieces to shoot. We may not get to both, but will at least shoot one.
