Let’s paint flowers! Their organic forms and vivid colors continue to inspire new generations of artists. Bring in your favorite seasonal boughs and blossoms to create a visual feast to paint from. Share your blooms to make custom arrangements or focus on individual flowers. While brushwork can enhance drawing, you do not necessarily need to overdraw natural forms to create satisfying watercolors. The minimal use of drawing allows the paint to move and breathe. Draw where you need, then let the paint do the rest. Develop more depth and detail with glazing, negative painting, and other techniques.
