10 Weeks
Monday 6 - 9, October 6 - December 8
This 10-week course focuses on sculpting the human torso at 2/3 scale. Inspired by the 19th-century rediscovery of fragmented classical works, sculptors like Rodin embraced the torso as a subject in its own right. Students will learn Anthony Alemany’s approach to working from a live model, including armature building, demonstrations, and individual feedback. The course emphasizes a systematic study of anatomy, proportional accuracy, observation, and artistic interpretation. $150 Model and Clay fee included in tuition
