This class will take you through the entire process of learning how to make pottery on the wheel, including wedging clay, centering, making a cylinder, finishing your work and glazing it. Learn essential techniques for throwing cylinders, cups, bowls, and more, with demonstrations of various surface decoration and glazing methods to enhance your work. Intermediate students can learn more complex shapes, form altering, and pulling handles. Learn at your own pace. Tool kits are available for $15. Bring your own towel. Lab fee includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazing and firing. $70 lab fee included in tuition
