Tuesdays, February 3 – April 7
10 Weeks, 10 – 1p
In this class we will explore handbuilding construction methods. Slab, pinch and coil methods will be demonstrated, along with a variety of textural and patterning techniques. Students will also learn to use molds and templates, along with stamps and sprigs for decoration. Lab fee includes 25# of clay, studio glazes and firing fees. Work is fired to Cone 6 in our electric kiln. A suggested tool list will be provided, Tool kits available through the instructor. All levels of experience welcome. Enrolled students can use the studio during open studio times. $70 lab fee included in tuition.
