Learn to draw and paint while exploring exciting seacoast locations near Portsmouth, NH! Your sketchbook is a powerful tool to improve your skills, learn new techniques, and journal your travels and adventures. In this class you will learn to draw faster and better, to use thumbnails and value studies to improve your work, and, whatever media you work in, to capture scenes in your sketchbook. We’ll visit beaches, working waterfronts, historic mansions, gardens, and private oceanfront estates not open to the public. Students of all abilities and media are welcome. Demonstrations in pencil, pen & ink, and watercolor.
