This course is designed for both beginners and students looking to strengthen and expand their wheel-throwing skills. Beginners will build a strong foundation by learning essential techniques such as centering, coning, pulling walls, shaping forms, trimming, and preparing work for glazing, while students with prior experience will continue developing their technical skills through projects tailored to their interests and goals. Topics may include refining form through repetition, throwing off the hump, closed and double-walled forms, handle techniques, and altering thrown forms. More experienced students will also have opportunities to pursue independent projects with instructor guidance in a supportive studio environment.

$70 lab fee included in tuition
