Thursdays, February 26 – April 2
6 Weeks, 9 - 12p
Cut up your sketchbook and glue it back together. Paint with dirt, pine needles, sticks, with a credit card, and with your [whatever body part]. Recycle your old artwork into collage. Make your own sketchbook from paper bags, books, and newsprint. Make a flip book. Print with leaves, flowers, and found objects. Each week we’ll do a little straight-ahead drawing, too. This class is for artists of all levels and media who want to try things very much out of the ordinary. To stretch the boundaries, make a mess, and have fun. Demonstrations and instruction as requested in pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. There will be homework to encourage daily practice.
