SA 11 ABSRACT THEMES IN WATERCOLOR with Margaret Dwyer

$150.00

Two Sessions

Tuesday & Wednesday

June 18, 2 – 6 & June 19, 1 - 5

Abstract art seeks to break away from the traditional representation of physical objects in the natural world. It explores the relationship of form, color, and composition without recognizable imagery, allowing artists and viewers more space for personal interpretation. Without the tether of representational demands, you will be encouraged to take artistic risks as you develop your work with techniques such as negative painting, lost and found edges, masking, glazing and more. Understanding how to work with the properties of a transparent medium will strengthen your visual vocabulary. Working conceptually will allow your unique artistic voice to emerge.
