We will be hitting a variety of scenes the seacoast has to offer to explore color. The intent of this course is to hone your use of color and applying it to the landscape/seascape. We will explore how colors affect each other and what it means to purposely put one color next to another to achieve what an old teacher of mine used to call, “the magic!”. Each student must be prepared for outdoor painting with easel, paints, mediums, clean up materials. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen and if possible an umbrella of some kind—it gets hot out there! Bug repellent is often good to have as well.
